How to seek the
Kingdom of God?

The first step in seeking the Kingdom of God is to make a decision to read the Word of God daily.   It must be a priority in your life!  If you have to get up at
5 am to do it, then do it.  Something else has to go, the Word of God is first.

"My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.  Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.  Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life." (Prov. 4:20-22)

"For the word of God is living and powerful..."(Heb. 4:12)

Is the Word of God alive and powerful in your life?  Out of your heart the Word of God should flow when you are in the midst of a battle and give you the answer to your problems.

Reading the Word sets the atmosphere in which you may understand His Will, recognize His way and hear the voice of His Spirit.

It is not enough to read the Word, you must meditate theWord. (Josh.1:8) 
That means to "think" on the Word.  As you go about the day, you chose what you think on.  We have a wonderful brain and can think on many things as we do our work.

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."  (Rom. 12:2)

In seeking the Kingdom of God we must learn to think and act like Jesus did on this earth.  He is our example. 

The next step is to watch and pray.    We have to learn to "ask" the Holy Spirit to reveal the Word to us.  We must pray, "the eyes of your understanding being enlightened....(Eph. 1:17).  The Word of God must be revealed to us by the Holy Spirit for us to renew our mind and understand the ways of the Kingdom of God.

A renewed mind opens the door to the supernatural power of God.  It brings peace, joy, love and a sense of well being and purpose.  That is what separates you from the world!
